Many newbies attempt to learn photoshop but end up frustrated, because they cannot create what they desire. Most of these newbies look up tutorials on popular websites and find a couple of hints and tips that tell them how to achieve a specific effect. The problem with this approach is that instead of learning how to reach desired outcomes, the users end up learning how to copy and never truly understand the fundamentals, or why certain buttons and settings will create something. Instead of learning how and why, newbie photoshoppers mindlessly imitate, and when it comes time to make something they want to make from scratch, they won’t even know where to start. That is the problem with random tutorials, they may help you reach an outcome immediately, but in the long-run, are you really learning Photoshop?
